We realize that as a fashion brand we are bound to leave a big footprint on the environment.
Our goal is to keep it as small as possible and become more and more sustainable as we grow.
We are currently participating in Fashion For Change project in collaboration with the Open Studios - a sustainability consultancy platform.
The main goal of this project is to implement circularity into our business model as well as improve the sustainability aspect.
WHAT WE USE
Certified organic textiles
We only use certified textiles.
40% of textiles used to produce current collection has GOTS certificate fabrics while 60% has OEKO-Tex certificate.
Tencel
Tencel is the brand name for lyocell and modal fibers that are produced in a environmentally responsible process using sustainably sourced natural raw wood
It is unbelievably soft and breathable and it can be easily mistaken with silk.
40% of our current collection is made of Tencel.
Recycled threads
The threads we use in our clothing are made out of 100% recycled polyester.
We try to avoid the use of manmade components as much as possible however we also want to provide you with best quality clothing.
Polyester threads seem to be the most durable option available however we are continuously searching for a more sustainable alternative
Corozo and Shell Buttons
We only use buttons made out of sustainable natural materials.
Corozo buttons are made of corozo nut that grows on the Tagua palm trees of central America. It is commonly called 'vegetable ivory'.
We also use buttons made of the inner layer of clam and snail shells.
No plastic packaging
Everything you order is wrapped in a a delicate layer of tissue paper, pack your order in reusable boxes made of recycled cardboard, and sealed with a paper tape.
No plastic.
Cotton labels and reusable hangtags
Labels sewn into our pieces are made of cotton.
YQUAL paper hangtags were specifically design to be reused as bookmarks.
